VLADA at the Outernet

1:00pm – 11:59pm
Free

VLADA is an 11-hour-long continuous artwork made from videos and photographs of the Ukraine war that have been uploaded online, during what has become one of the most documented conflicts in history.

Marking the second anniversary of the war, visitors will see more than 320 videos showing simultaneously across the towering floor-to-ceiling wrap-around screens at Outernet in what is an intentionally overwhelming experience.

Artists Nick Crowe & Ian Rawlinson said, ‘VLADA came about because like the rest of the world we were glued to our phones watching the horror unfold. It’s also our way of not letting that horror be forgotten, nor allowing it to overwhelm or paralyse us’. The piece is brought to the screens by the artists and ADOT, Outernet’s affiliated charity. VLADA hopes to encourage the public to Choose Love and donate https://chooselove.org/’ to support displaced Ukrainian communities.

The film will play in full for one day only on Saturday 24th February from 1pm-midnight on the huge screens at Outernet London’s flagship space The Now Building.

Organisers may cancel events, alter schedules, or change admission requirements without notice. Always check official sites before heading to an event.
