Summer festivals and fireworks night might be two of the main draws at Ally Pally in any calendar year. But there’s also plenty going on during the winter months. This year, Ally Pally has focused its efforts on a Santa’s Grotto. Here, kids can meet (and snap a photo with) Father Christmas himself. The Grotto is open 10 am–6 pm, and spaces fill up fast.
If you’re making the trip, it’s well worth taking a look at what else is on too. As always there’s variety of winter performances and events. There’s Nutcracker on Ice, the world darts championship, and a sustainable option for your Christmas tree – rent rather than buy (and then throw away) at “Christmas on the Hill“.
