Free Clothing Repair Workshops at Westfield

12:00pm – 8:00pm

Westfield Good Festival is back, and well worth a visit. This sustainability-focused event shares the small, everyday changes that can really help the planet – and your bank balance.

The Seam – a care and repair service whose aim is to empower consumers to repair and rejuvenate their clothing – are running a series of free classes, so bring your well-worn favourites for a bit of TLC and learn some creative repair techniques.

There will also be a greenhouse providing a serene retreat for reconnecting with nature (and advice on how to choose the right houseplants), a Lush Bath Bar making workshop, a Patchwork Denim workshop with TRAID and a free sneaker cleaning service.

For families, check out the children’s clothes and book swap shop, and tie-dye t-shirt upcycling workshop. You can also bring your old shoes to the designated ReNewShoe collection boxes at the event, for recycling into various new items such as clothes hangers, picnic tables and sports flooring.

Westfield’s Good Festival is at Westfield Stratford City from the 3rd to the 6th May, and to Westfield London from the 16th to the 19th May.

Organisers may cancel events, alter schedules, or change admission requirements without notice. Always check official sites before heading to an event.
