Blue Monday, the third Monday of January, is said to be the gloomiest of the year. Whether it’s failed resolutions, long nights or the comedown from the festive season, it’s just a downer of a day. So this year, tourism giant Klook is stepping in to reverse all that with positive vibes. As the first in their “Klook Explores” series of events, “Happiness, Travel and the Year Ahead” aims to inspire you through 2020 and beyond.
What to Expect
Hosted by award-winning speaker, Denise Mortimer, it’s all about using positive psychology to plan for the year ahead. Whether you’re looking to do your best in love, work or health, the session will help you put your best foot forward. Hosted at the unrelentingly hip Lost in Brixton, it’s also a chance to get to know like-minded folks over a glass of wine. Still riding high on your Dry January Horse? There’ll also be juices and smoothies by local juice bar, Oracle, from 6 pm–7 pm.
Getting there
The aptly named Lost in Brixton is well-hidden from prying eyes on the roof of Brixton Village. Fortunately, it’s easy enough to find once you know it’s there. The nearest Tube is Brixton station—just follow the Victoria line all the way south. And be sure to check out our guide to cheap and free things to do in Brixton while you’re in the area!
