Hammersmith is a mixed residential and commercial neighbourhood in west London next to the Thames.
The centre of the district is Hammersmith Tube Station, which has excellent transport links to the rest of London via the Piccadilly, District, and Hammersmith & City lines.
King Street as well as Hammersmith Broadway (connected to the tube station) offer plenty of shopping, supermarket and dining options – both affordable and more upmarket. Towards the river, there are a number of historic pubs including The Dove, the Old Ship and the Black Lion.
