These tickets give you access to the towers, walkways, glass floors and engine rooms; you can book a guided tour at weekends, including a tour with BSL on the last Saturday of the month. There is no fast-track option for Tower Bridge.

Cheapo Top Tip: Remember that you can walk (or drive) across the bridge for free – or watch as the bridge is lifted, a truly unforgettable sight. This happens more often than you might think; details of dates and times can be found here.

National Rail Days Out

If you happen to be heading in to London by train, you can get 2-for-1 tickets to a number of London attractions, including Tower Bridge.

Enter your journey details on the Days Out Guide website and register to claim the offer. You will then be redirected to the Tower Bridge website; make sure you select ‘National Rail Days Out’ tickets (not standard Adult tickets). Your discount will be applied when you enter the Days Out Guide discount code on the next page.
Discount: 2-for-1 tickets (in effect, half price when you buy two)
Cost: N/A (other than your train ticket)
Availability: Those travelling in to London by train

London Pass

If you’re planning on hitting several sights in one day, you may be better off with a tourist pass. The London Pass gives you access to over 80 London attractions, including Tower Bridge. Time-wise, this part of London is packed with things to see and do: the Tower of London, London Bridge Experience, HMS Belfast and the View from the Shard are all just minutes away. An adult buying tickets to all these would pay £130.00, so that’s quite a saving – plus the pass gives you 10% discount in the gift shop. However, you can’t book a time slot with this pass, so check the busy slots on the Tower Bridge website to plan your visit or you could waste time queueing.

Discount: Various, depending on your sightseeing plans for the rest of the day
Cost: £79.00 for a one-day pass for an adult
Availability: Online on the London Pass website

Community Ticket

If you’re lucky enough to live locally, you could bag yourself a community ticket for a paltry £1.00. Residents of Tower Hamlets, Southwark and the City of London just need to bring along a photo ID and recent proof of address (e.g. utility or council tax bill). Not just that, but you get a whopping 15% discount in the gift shop.

Discount: Huge – pay just £1.00 for a £12.30 ticket.
Cost: N/A (other than your rent/mortgage)
Availability: Local residents
