BMW Tate Live Exhibition Ten Days Six Nights (24th-25th March) – Free

Closing weekend of the annual live exhibition at the Tate Modern. This year’s event celebrates the work and influence of American visual artist Joan Jonas. Ten Days Six Nights will feature performances by Jonas and other acclaimed visual artists and musicians. Daytime exhibitions and installations are free, but the evening performances are ticketed.

Keats in Hampstead Guided Walk ( 24th March) £12

Combine a love of literature and London by exploring the picturesque guided Keats walk around Hampstead. Meeting a Hampstead Tube on the high street your guide will take you on a journey through the celebrated poet’s life exploring the locations that inspired him, including Vale of Health, Well Walk and the Heath itself. Listen to readings from his works and letters along the way, mixed with stories of his life. The walk ends at Keats House and you can enter the museum for free.

The Boat Races 2018 (24th March) – Free

The annual river-based battle to be rowing champions between Oxford and Cambridge Universities is back. Join thousands of spectators along the Thames from Putney to Mortlake to cheer on the rowing crews. The women’s race kicks off at 16:45 and the men’s race at 17:45 Get there early to get a good spot!

Shoreditch Dog House (24th-30th March) – From £8

Listen: 140 Years of Recorded Sound (24th March -13th May) – Free

As the name suggests, this exhibition is an auditory rather than visual experience. Celebrating the origin of recorded sound, it follows a timeline from 1877 featuring key events in sound recording history, with rare and unpublished recordings as well as a specially commissioned audio installation by composer Aleks Kolkowski. he exhibition is part of the Season of Sound, celebrating the Library’s sound archives. The exhibition can be found in the entrance hall of the British Library.
